I’ve noticed over the last few nights my Wakey making a kinda static crackly noise.
This is with the unit in standby with the clock displaying only and not charging.
I have captured it on an audio recording but can’t seem to upload here.
It’s not super loud but is noticeable when you get near.
Anyone have the same experience?

Not been so bad today but definitely to do with the wireless charger.

A quick update on this as Anker got back to me today.
Their quote is,
”Normally, your reward Wakey is not covered by any of warranty policy, and we are unable to help you exchange the Wakey. After speaking with my supervisor, I was able to get approval for an exception for your situation to ship you a new Wakey after we received the defective item.”
So thats a good result and big thanks to Anker.
Although I take it from that a product won (not just a Wakey) isn’t normally covered under warranty.
The old Wakey was boxed and sent back today and I’ll update when the new one arrives.

@paulstevenewing normally prizes / free gifts are exempt from the 18 month warranty and are replaced at Ankers discretion…
The replacement unit turned up today and now takes pride of place.
So far so good re the odd noise I was getting before.
