Difference between Micro USB 6ft with Gold-Plated Connectors and The Micro Powerline +

So, I recently busted my Micro USB cable, totally my fault didn’t even contact #Anker support lol. Now I’m looking to replace it. What is the difference between the Micro 6ft Gold-plated 2 pack and the Powerline+ Micro…seeing as they are the same price? AKA why are 2 the same price as 1, Powerline+ just better quality? I only need one cable so if that is the case then I won’t waste the money on the 2 pack. @AnkerOfficial?

“Gold is actually a worse conductor of electricity than copper, though in practice that matters little. The only real, physical reason to use gold is that unlike copper, it doesn’t tarnish. … If you want your cables to last a long time, then gold-plated is probably a good idea.”
