My new 1080 video doorbell keeps dropping it’s connection and only way to connect to WiFi is a power off. It probably happens 3 or 4 times a day now.
I’ve factory reset and also forget and reconnect device and this improves things for a while.
Both doorbell and chime are next to router and signal I’d great.
Any ideas? I don’t want to return the doorbell as I do like it and love the no subscription piece.

- make the router use a static channel so less channel hopping.
- use a WiFi analysis app on phone and find the congestion near router and near doorbell (*) depends which model you may have a base which needs to be free from congestion.
- separate 5Ghz from 2.4Ghz SSID on router name them different SSID and try to use 5Ghz as much as possible particularly for anything nearby in same room as router so less congestion on 2.4Ghz.
